Terrington Brass band

The band played at village fetes, Armistice day, Christmas, and concerts in nearby villages. Orchard Cottage, at the corner of Mowthorpe Lane and South Back Lane West, became, possibly after World War 2, the practice room for the band until 1956; they practised on Thursday afternoons and Sunday mornings.
