National Celebrations

The photos below show villagers celebrating the Coronation of King George V and Queen Mary which took place on 22 June 1911 and Peace day, 19 July 1919, on which the end of World War 1 was celebrated following the signing of the Treaty of Versailles on 28 June 1919, seven and a half months after the Armistice on 11 November 1918.
