Official records and other documents

A number of types of documents record events in the history of the parish and will be added here, including:

• Court records: eg Quarter Sessions
• Taxation records: eg poll tax, hearth tax, land tax
• Deeds & charters: recording the transfer of land
• Wills: providing information on people's possessions
