Indexed census databases are available on the ancestry.co.uk and findmypast.co.uk websites, intended for genealogical searches.
The links below take you to pages which give summary information for the parish of Terrington including Ganthorpe. These look at the age distribution of the population, numbers of people in different occupations, numbers of people born in the parish and elsewhere, and other summary data. So far, only the 1851 census has been analysed; the others will be completed in due course.
Data from recent censuses has been summarised in data sheets produced using data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and complied by North Yorkshire County Council, to who we are grateful for providing the data.
